Lotus Flower Study 1 - Original (9x12cm)

A beautiful study of a deep pink lotus flower against a serene green background. 

Lotus flowers are profoundly sacred symbols in Buddhist and Hindu traditions. They symbolise purity and enlightenment.

This study is part of a series and was completed on the first day of my first Divinity Collection exhibition. I painted 3 lotus flowers over the course of my exhibition. They were practice for a larger piece I'm painting for the Divinity Collection. 

This painting is unframed. It is on canvas board and measures 9x12cm. This would be beautiful in a small tray frame and positioned above a night stand or a desk.
