From today onwards I will donate 5% from the sale of each product to the World Wide Fund for Nature (a global environmental charity better known in the UK as WWF).

Why am I doing this?

My art is an extension of my values. I believe with all my heart that we belong to nature - and not the other way around.

Sadly, we as humans are responsible for causing loss of species and habitats across the world. Our accumulative impact on this beautiful planet has been to cause and accelerate devastating climate change.

It is the poorest and most vulnerable humans (primarily
women and children) and the precious species we share the planet with who are left struggling to survive as a result.

I have donated to charities to protect people and wildlife all of my adult life and it feels natural and right to donate a percentage of income from my art sales to work that protects nature.

Why WWF?

I want to contribute to a charity that is aligned with my values - and by extension, the core message in my art (we belong to nature and must act to protect it). 

In WWF's own words, they're 'leading the way not just to protect our natural world but to restore it.'

They are working through their global network (they work in nearly 100 countries across the world), and in collaboration with governments, businesses, NGOs, Indigenous peoples and local communities to:

• Make our world work for nature
• Bring nature back from the brink
• Grow love and support for nature

How will it work?

When you view any product on my website you will be told exactly how much from each sale will be donated to WWF. Once the sale has been processed five percent will be collected by Virtue (a social impact app) and sent directly to WWF.

My mission as an artist

During my 25-year career as a communications specialist I chose to work on programmes that made the world a better place. My ambition is for my art to contribute to a better world by:

• building a community of collectors who are inspired to protect nature in their daily lives (in big and small ways), and
• contributing to the protection and restoration of the natural world.

What this means for my collectors

Most importantly, I hope this will be an opportunity for my collectors to:

• enrich their lives by adding uplifting, vibrant and meaningful art to their homes;
• live with art that reflects their values - creating a wonderful and inspiring talking point with guests; and
• know that they have contributed to real-world action to protect and restore nature.

FIRST EXHIBITION OF THE DIVINITY COLLECTION TO INCLUDE NEW PAINTING

I am excited to announce that I will be holding the first exhibition of the Divinity Collection at Seas The Day - a wonderful new pop-up Gallery at 3, Garden Street, Cromer. The exhibition will run from 5 June to Sunday 7 June 2026. Opening hours are 10:30am to 4:30pm each day.

To celebrate, I'll be making my latest painting of a hare available for sale.

Seven originals, including the hare, as well as a range of framed and unframed prints will be available for view and purchase.

This is a great opportunity to enrich your home with fine art that expresses love and reverence for the natural world.

The Divinity Collection is a body of work portraying the inherent divinity of all living beings. Alongside the hare, it includes portraits of a fallow deer, a plum-headed parakeet, a sparkling violetear hummingbird, a peacock, a fox, and a pheasant. 

The painting of the hare, whose name will be revealed this week, will be available for purchase for the first time on at 10:30am on Thursday 4 June - to Studio Notes subscribers only. It will then be available for purchase at the exhibition and online at 10:30am on Friday 5 June.
