The fox has been seen in eastern and Celtic mythology as a guide between worlds, a keeper of secrets, and a symbol of intelligence and spiritual insight.

Nature commissioned this painting of a wise and protective fox. I felt compelled to paint it after seeing foxes everywhere in my day to day life. After I had finished the piece, they disappeared from sight.

Inari is named after the Shinto deity associated with foxes, protection and prosperity.
