About Inari

Inari celebrates the fox - in eastern and Celtic mythology and folklore foxes were a powerful symbol of wisdom, intelligence and intuition. They were thought to be spiritual guides bridging the gap between this world and the afterlife.

Created as part of the Divinity Collection, Inari reflects a belief in the inherent divinity of living beings, and the right of wild creatures to exist on their own terms.

This fox has a silver halo encrusted with emeralds depicting his divinity. The composition emphasises his watchful presence and draws you into a calm, focused encounter with this beautiful being.

The painting takes its name from Inari, the Shinto deity associated with foxes, prosperity, and protection.
