The fox has been seen in eastern and Celtic mythology as a guide between worlds, a keeper of secrets, and a symbol of intelligence and spiritual insight.

Nature commissioned this painting of a wise and protective fox. I felt compelled to paint it after seeing foxes everywhere in my day to day life. Once I had finished the piece they were nowhere to be seen.

Inari is named after the Shinto deity associated with foxes, protection and prosperity.

About this limited edition print

This limited edition print on stretched canvas offers a way to collect artwork with added brushwork and gallery-ready presentation.

Each piece begins as an archival giclée print on stretched canvas. Once printed, it is returned to my studio, where selected areas are individually hand-embellished, reintroducing surface detail and metallic elements found in the original painting.

The result is a print with added shimmer, texture, and subtle variation, created in a strictly limited number.

What makes this print special:

  • Museum-grade print that will last for generations
  • Luminous silver and emerald tones
  • Hand-embellished with metallic details - no two prints are identical
  • Strictly limited edition, signed and numbered
